Eid Al Adha Private Sector Holiday Announced

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has announced the dates for the upcoming Eid Al Adha holiday in the private sector.

Paid Holidays for Public Sector

Employees in the UAE's public sector will receive paid holidays from Saturday, June 15th to Tuesday, June 18th, in observance of Arafah Day.

Tentative Date for Eid ul Adha 2024

Eid ul Adha, also known as Bakra Eid, is expected to be celebrated on Sunday, June 16th, 2024. However, this date is subject to confirmation.

Private Sector Holiday Duration

The private sector holiday will be from Friday, June 14th, to Tuesday, June 18th. Work will resume on Wednesday, June 19th.

Public Sector Holiday Duration

The public sector will be granted the same paid holiday duration, as announced by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.
